The All New Predator Light System
Nite Lite takes pride in introducing The
Predator . . . the first in a series of
NiCad light systems developed to
combine performance, modern design
and quality craftsmanship. Although
the Predator utilizes a very powerful 16-
plus volts D-Cell NiCad power pack, it
is remarkably lightweight . . . under 5
lbs! The 16-plus volts system is used
in two phases . . . 16-plus volts of
power is directed through a 12-volt
hand spotlight providing an extremely
bright spotting light. When the 5100
Mine Style Headlamp is used, 8 volts is
pushed through a specially designed
high/low 6-volt bulb. The bulb's high
side produces one of the brightest
beams on the market while the bulb's
low side preserves battery life. State-of-
the-art internal electronics
automatically turns the headlamp off
when the spotlight is on to prevent
excessive battery drain . . . turn the
spotlight off and the headlamp
automatically turns on again. The
dimmer switch is designed to allow an
infinite range of settings to satisfy the
exact level of intensity desired. The
Predator Power Pack is equipped with
a multi-purpose LED light that
functions in three ways . . . first, it will
flicker several times when the
headlamp is turned on indicating a
bulb pre-warming cycle to preserve
bulb life. Second, it will act as a power
on indicator light for the battery pack.
Third, it will blink continuously when
the battery is low and in need of
charging. The molded-in handle grip
allows The Predator to become a
powerful hand lantern. The package
also includes a hardhat and heavy-
duty charger with an LED light.
Warranty: Two-year full warranty on
the Ni-Cad battery pack. One-year
warranty on all parts except for the
bulb.
